i have used it personall on my vehicles. and many cars/trucks when i was an apprentice and they got overspray on them. i doesn hurt paint does take off the wax. and it wil make the painty better looking and slicker than when it was new. can order it through them or around where i live places that sell automotive paint sell it.
get the blue bar. not the red.
as for the leather try suntan lotion, or some leather cleaner it will usually get the leather soft moist etc and the paint will pop off.
i wouldnt use goof on on paint,a nd the can says not to use on painted surfaces. any more questions you can just let me know.House painter from hell left paint mist on my bike and a couple drips on the leather seat .Ideas?
make sure to do it in the shade, not it the sun i works alot better. and keep the clay bar wet. like in water etc. dip it every once in a while.

If you can take a picture of the bike that shows the paint I would do that first. My next step would be to find out if your homeowners insurance will cover having the bike painted. If they will I would give them all of the information you have on the painter and let your insurance company go after him. I really wouldn't try anything until you talk to your homeowners and it sounds to me like if you try anything you will break the clear coat seal and then you open yourself up to a ton of other problems.
If you knew he was going to be painting in that area then why didnt you move the bike Duh ,

You may want to try a rubbing compound (test in one small area first). This takes dead paint off, leaving the good paint, and then you would need a good wax job to protect the paint. The tank will feel smooth again. Auto parts stores have the Dupont compound.
The leather seat - if latex paint you may be able to use a scrub brush with very warm water and liquid detergent. If you can compromise the bonding a bit of the paint, it should come off (may need the help of a fingernail to push it off).
If the painter was stupid enough to do this to your bike, he probably does not carry liability insurance nor would he know what it is. I hope it comes off for you.
After thought: Crazy idea: (use caution) You could try a small tip on a soldering iron to be able to put precise heat on the paint dots, the heat will diminish the paints bond (kind of like using a blow torch on painted wood). But as you know it may be a slight trade off - paint dots for slight discoloration of the leather.
try goof-off. it is a latex paint remover. it should take the mist off the bike, with some elbow grease. it will also remove any polish/wax etc, that is on the bike, so you will need to polish is when you are done. any hardware or paint store should have goof off or something like it . there are a couple of brands that do the same thing. Goof Off is sold in a small yellow can, with a red logo.

Goof off is good for the painted surfaces and it will look like new. I would actually try using a good coat of wax first with a little rubbing. Then move to the more abrasive materials like goof off.
Not the first choice but brake fluid will remove everything. maybe even the paint.
As for the seat if it is misted on i think you might be out of luck. Take it to a leather expert. You can get seats recovered by the manufacturer (Corbin/Mustang) for less than a new seat.
i would use a clay bar
seconf thought i would make the guy resposnible take care of it, suggest to him to get a car and bike detailer and to get the clay bar treatment
Have his company pay for a repaint. They're insured for a reason.
If your fingernails are thick enough not to scratch the paint you can also scrape it off gently with them. Hubby said goof off .
