How do i paint both sides of a two-by-four without one side dripping onto the other?

i have several shaped two-by-fours, both sides of which will be visible after unit assembly. how do i set them up for painting so that the paint from one side doesn't drip onto and ruin the other side? also, is there a way to set them up so i can paint both sides, without having to wait for the first side to dry?How do i paint both sides of a two-by-four without one side dripping onto the other?

You could drill a hole in the end ...insert a hook and hang it outside from a porch etc.
