What do you use to remove paint drips from hardwood Floors?

They have the laquer or gloss on them. I could remove the drips from just scraping them but I dont want to make scratches on the wood. I have removed drips before when we moved in our house years ago but I can remember what we did it with. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. What do you use to remove paint drips from hardwood Floors?
White spirit or turps, Apply with soft cloth, then wash with a little dish soap liquid , rinse and dryWhat do you use to remove paint drips from hardwood Floors?
If you have hardwood floors using anything harsh would harm the finish.. If its a latex kind of paint.. you can usually just use your nail and gently lift it off... but if there is lots it can take forever..

My advice would be to call a floor manufacturer in your area and ask ... they might be able to help you with some kind of product that will not harm your flooring underneath..
