How do you get spray paint to not drip?

When ever I use spray paint it always runs and the colours mix. Do you have any ideas how I can stop this or prevent because its ruining my art =(How do you get spray paint to not drip?
Do not spray too close. That should prevent the dripping. To prevent the blending, wait until the first layer dries before you add the second layer of paint. How do you get spray paint to not drip?
I am not expert in painting but used it.

I found it not to over do it.

No matter what it will go on carpet or floor so spread a sheet plastic or paper on the floor.

If it is a piece of furniture take it in the back yard.

Spray from a distance.

Good Luck
